If you’re looking to make your house clearance more affordable then we have an option for you.We understand that clearing a house can be expensive and we have created a man & van house clearance option which could help save you some time and even better, money. Our standard house clearance service includes adequate labour such as 2 or 3 porters and vans to clear a property. We generally bring our own staff as most of our customers can’t cope with the emotional and physical side of clearing a house. We also understand that some of our customers do not have an emotional tie and are physically able to help carry furniture and smaller items to the van, we are more than happy to work with you to lower our labour cost and pass the saving on to you. We can supply a man & 14yd van to come along, the driver can help load the van but he would require help from you and/or your family to bring items to the van.
Saving on rubbish removal
We can reduce our clearance charge by 25% from our standard rate. This includes our porter, the van, fuel and, importantly, the correct recycling requirement for general household items. We pay a commercial recycling facility to segregate, recycle and ensure your items are recycled legally and in an environmentally friendly manner.Recycling your business waste correctly costs us up to £180.00 per ton, plus surcharges for fridge/freezers, mattresses and sofas. This cost is included in our waste clearance rates. Beware of cheap waste clearance prices – this disposal rate is common all over the UK, and it may be even more in the London area. If you have received a particularly cheap quote then we would advise to ask for clarification on where your items will be taken. If in any doubt, we advise not to risk it. You items may be fly tipped, and you could be prosecuted as well as the waste clearance company who provided a particularly cheap quote.
Recycling your waste
We can recycle all types of household furniture such as wardrobes, sofas, beds, drawers, electronics, all types of white goods, all types of small items such as crockery, glasses, pates, clothes etc. Items we can’t accept are asbestos, paint tins, oils, ammunition and explosive materials.
