What is a carpet uplift?
A carpet uplift involves ripping up the old carpet, along with the underlay if required, removing and disposing of it for you prior to your new carpet being fitted. If the carpet has already been removed then we can offer a more competitive rate for the collection and recycling of the old carpet and underlay. If you can remove the old carpet then this saves considerable time, making the collection more affordable.
What about the furniture?
An added benefit of using a house clearance company with house removal experience is that we can also move the furniture before removing your old carpets. We can move the furniture items into another room or, if required, we can transport the items to our secure storage and return them when your new carpets have been fitted. The only item which we will require preparing by yourself will be a fish tank. We can move the tank but it will require draining prior to our arrival.
